What Characters!

I have blogged a lot this month but we've just had a really busy month full of "characters" around our house!!

Here are some pictures of our favorite "Characters..."

Uncle Mikie and his 4 girl's came to visit. There are 4 kids in the bed, so we are missing one in this picture.

This is Ayla and Eric. We rode our bikes to the pool. (yes, WE, as in my 7month prego body on a bike)

Oh and this is Eric floating down the lazy river by himself!! This is HUGE for him. Usually he's attached to your hip in the water but now he just wants to go by himself. Makes the pool so much more enjoyable!
Last but not least, we got to meet a real character...Spongebob Squarepants! Eric LOVES him. I couldn't get him to look at the camera, he was so enthralled in meeting the real thing! Look at that big hug!

Anyway, as you can see we've been busy. We've had family in town every weekend this month, but one. (Sadly, I didn't take one picture while Aunt Sarah, Uncle Crockett and Aunt Tasha were in town.) We love it when we have visitors!! It's been a lot of fun but also so tiring for this pregnant gal. (by the way only 11 more weeks to go...).

(Technically we've been together for 7 1/2 years but who's counting, right?)

Oh and by the way this is random but Jene said to me the other day, "Can you believe that Eric has been with us for almost half of our marriage?" Is that not a crazy thought or what?

Home Stretch

We're down to what they call the "Home Stretch" of Pregnancy...the 3rd Trimester! Hallelujah! I'm so excited! I've been wanting this baby out of me for about 2 months now and not because the pregnancy has been too rough or anything, I think I'm just ready. I'm ready to meet our new little boy, ready to have labor over and done with, ready to introduce Eric to his little brother, ready for down time, ready to get back into shape, ready for it all really. Even though I'm ready, I know our house is another story. We still have to move our study upstairs so that we can move Eric into his new room and get it all organized and put together and then I have to get all of our baby stuff out of the attic and get the nursery done. It shouldn't be a big deal, mostly a lot of folding and putting things away but lots to do none the less. That's our project for the next month because I don't want to wait any longer.

Lil' Stinker

Oh, Eric...you cute little stinker! Lately, Daddy and I feel like you are 2 going on 16. You have started to have a bit of an attitude from sheer defiance to being fiercely independent. You definitely take after your Mother when it comes to being super stubborn. Not a trait, I admire in myself or you. Although, Daddy can be stubborn too so maybe you got a double dose from both of us? Whatever the case may be, heaven help us!! You seem to have many sides or personalities these days. One minute you are the sweetest, cuddliest most affectionate little guy giving hugs and kisses and being so polite and the next minute you are a holy terror throwing fits and ripping pillows off the couch (which is something I despise and after picking up the pillows 15 times I finally just give up and don't try again until you are fast asleep in bed)! A lot of the time you are the most curious, studious and serious little sponge that absorbs everything and asks a million questions. Your favorite question right now is "Why?" (this is one of my favorite sides of you)! Daddy and I love every side of you because they make you well...YOU! Although, we could probably do without too much of the holy terror side...work with us on that one, will ya?
